What is CBT?

CBT can help with depression, anxiety, and a wide range of other problems.

CBT is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on how a person’s thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes affect their feelings and behaviors.
It’s based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings and actions are interconnected, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a vicious cycle.

The principal aim of this therapeutic approach is to enable the person to become their own therapist and to provide them with the knowledge and tools to continue working towards complete recovery.

CBT can have a positive impact on how people feel and act and equip them with coping strategies that help them deal with challenges.
Research shows that CBT can offer support to people with depression, panic disorder, and various other health conditions.

CBT is the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommended treatment for a number of difficulties/disorders. We have experience in treating*:>

Therapy Fees & Costs


Our session fees vary, based upon whether you would like a daytime or evening appointment together with who is covering the costs of your sessions*.

Self-Payment Fees
Face to face CBT session Monday-Friday 8.00am-3.00pm £50.00
Evenings (6.00pm-9.30pm)
Weekend (8.00am-1.00pm)
Workshop fees 

Please note these are inclusive of light refreshments and printed course handouts/resources

There is a maximum of 10 delegates per course

Introduction to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy: Key principles and concepts 3.5 hours £40.00
Managing Anxiety, Stress and Low mood 12 hours

(4 X 3 hour sessions)



Managing Sleep Difficulties and Insomnia 8 hours

(4 x 2 hour sessions)

Managing Worry 10

(4 x 2.5 hour sessions)


We accept credit and debit card payments for sessions using Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

*We are happy to help you access treatment via your health insurance (AxaPPP, Bupa, Aviva, Health Vitality) if required, however please do be aware that you are ultimately responsible for any costs which your insurer doesn’t cover.
